Service Coordination

Medicaid Service Coordination (MSC) is a service which assists
persons with developmental disabilities and mental retardation in
gaining access to medical, social, educational, and other
services as needed by the individual.  MSC provides ongoing
support, advocacy, and follow-up to ensure that the individual
receives the maximum possible benefit from various services.
The services may be diagnostic, residential, habilitative,
educational, vocational, medical, or financial in nature.  The
MSC ensures the continued growth of the individual, working
with not only the person, but family members as well, in
coordinating a "service package."  MSC promotes the concepts
of choice, individualized services and consumer satisfaction,
striving for the highest quality of life.
